Tuesday: Trade Deficit

... rates moved quite a bit higher today, as far as single days go. The average lender is at least an eighth of a percent (0.125%) higher than they were on Friday. The average conventional 30yr fixed rate is once again back up to at least 5.5% depending on number of mid-day price changes made by any given lender. [30 year fixed 5.50%]

• At 8:30 AM ET, 8:30 AM: Trade Balance report for April from the Census Bureau. The consensus is the trade deficit to be $89.3 billion.  The U.S. trade deficit was at $109.8 Billion in March.
